Sketch Magic ("we", "our", or "the app") is a drawing transformation app that uses AI to transform children's drawings into animated, cartoon-style images. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Information We Collect

Images You Provide

• What: Photos you take or select from your library, and drawings you create in the app
• Why: To transform your drawings using AI
• How it works: Images are securely transmitted for AI processing, then the transformed result is returned to your device
• Storage: Images are processed but not permanently stored on external servers. Transformed images and sketches are saved locally on your device only.

Purchase Information

• What: Records of in-app purchases (credits, subscriptions)
• Why: To provide you with the credits you purchased and manage subscriptions
• Storage: Purchase history is managed by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. Your credit balance is stored locally on your device.

Device Information

• What: Anonymous device identifier
• Why: To restore your purchases if you reinstall the app or switch devices
• Storage: Managed by RevenueCat for purchase management only

Third-Party Services

AI Processing

We use third-party AI services to transform your drawings. When you submit an image:

• The image is securely transmitted for AI processing
• The AI processes the image and returns the transformed version
• Your images are not used to train AI models
• Images are not stored after processing is complete

RevenueCat (Purchase Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat:

• Processes and validates your purchases with Apple
• Enables purchase restoration across devices
• Uses an anonymous app user ID (not linked to personal information)
• Collects anonymous purchase analytics (not linked to you personally)
• Does not collect personal information like name or email

Apple App Store

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's handling of payment information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

Data Security

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Purchase data is stored using Apple's secure storage mechanisms
• We do not maintain user accounts or databases of personal information
• Images are processed but not permanently stored
• Sketches and transformed images are stored only on your device

Children's Privacy

Sketch Magic is designed to be family-friendly and with children's privacy in mind. We:

• Do not knowingly collect personal information from children
• Do not require account creation
• Do not include advertising
• Do not include social features or user-generated content sharing

Parents can manage purchases through iOS Screen Time settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View your locally stored data (credits, saved sketches, and artwork in the app)
• Delete: Remove saved sketches and transformed images from within the app
• Export: Save your sketches and transformed images to your Photos library
• Opt-out: Choose not to use the transformation feature

Important Note About Purchase Data

Your purchase history is managed by RevenueCat and Apple, allowing purchase restoration across devices. Your credit balance is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you delete the app or switch devices without restoring purchases.
